dire need to loosen up

I've been fidgety for months.
Even my pen felt like it was glued to my fingers after all that writing.

Speaking of dire need to loosen up. I finally got the chance to do so last Friday.

Met up with some friends (and Mirian friends) for a lil night out in downtown KL.
We made our way to Maison, one of the chic bars along the Asian Heritage Row.
I'll post up the pictures tomoro.
It was such an interesting DRAMATIC night.

Lol. Just what i need.

my mellow season

Everyone's happily back in Miri, cruising away to the beaches and havin' little trips. Taking gazillion pictures without me. *sobs*

Miss those faces. Can't wait to see the girls in KL.

Thinking of getting everyone to go for Gwen Stefani's concert next month. August 21st. A tad pricey (good seatings are RM285) but I definitely think it will be worth going (mashed and squeezed with heaps of sweaty people.. hmm.. well.. I shall think again..)

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Anyway. My schedule's full these days. Loaded with assignmentssssss. Lol. I have no idea how many times I repeatedly utterred those words the whole week! Jason might've mention it more often than usual too.

"I'm doin assignments la.."
"Have u hand up the assignments ah??"
"Eh Ms. D'Cruz wants the assignments now..!!"

You get the clue.

Esther and I came up with an evil plan yesterday.
Against Type-A Jason.
When I mean by Type-A, i'm not talking about his blood type or AAA grade (altho he's an excellent student) or anythin of that sort. It's a term we use in Psychology, called Type A behaviour. It's the pigeonhole for ppl who's extrovertly active, frenetic, constantly excited, etc. He hates it whenever we call and tease him. Lol. Just a joke! Chill, Jason.

We tricked him into believing that our lecturer, Ms D'cruz, wanted the assignment in an hour, or else 30 percent's going to be scrapped off our final paper. I thought he'd freaked out, being the Type A he is, but he took it quite calmly. Considering he hasnt started the work, and neither did we.

Esther was tryin so hard to make a HUGE fuss over it. I was trying so hard to not laugh. "Aiyo..die la wei. Ms. D'cruz was sooooo mad you know.. Jason, what we gna do?!!"

Jason, no reaction. (whoa. i was impressed, no Type A veins pop out)

We left him for like 5 minutes. Came back. Expected a Jason to run around, calling Ms D'Cruz, bawling over the phone, papers scattered all over, screaming and the whole drama. But, surprisingly, he's still A-OK.

Ironic enough, WE got worried.

"Is he ok? He seems calm..."
"I know. Maybe he's too freaked out until he can't react anymore."
"Yeah... Maybe we should tell him we're only handin the work on Weds"
"Yeah we better..."

So we did. He was a little redder than normal when we finally let him in with the whole joke thing, but he wasn't pissed that we made him panic a "little". Hehe.

I'm done with one of my assignments for History. A compilation of 20 political cartoons, with 20 essays to write up on. My lecturer wants it A3 size (think drawing book size). So it was a bit tiring to do.

These are the sorts of caricatures I have to ponder on and write a full one page essay on. The cartoonists have such witty sense of humour!

Like politics but in a rather not-so-serious sense? Then, you would love http://caglecartoons.com/. There're SO funny!

The whole project was a FUN process tho. Shop for the materials at Craft Haven and the artsy shops I never been to. Lol. I found a really cool pen-paint kind of er, pen. The ones ppl use to make designs on glass? I had the most wonderful kiddie time playing with it!

The end product !

Not so much with the fancy pancy thing. But I liked it. So DIY. I was beaming proudly at it, eventhough I had UHU glue substance smudged all over my hands. And I manage to perfectly spell my partner's name wrong. Hehe.

Oh well, what done is done.

I was aiming for the star, but atleast I landed on the moon. :)

quickie update

My law course demands a lot of attention. Taking my energy and my time. I feel like i'm having a baby or something. Figuratively speaking, ofcourse.

Haven't i introduce the babies yet?

Well one is called LegalSkills, another is called Psychology (thats my favourite one) and Anthropology (my least fav, but still). Ok fine. Not exactly "baby" names. I was just being lame. Those are the subjects I'm studying for Sem 1, apart from US History. (don't raise that eyebrow, its for general knowledge k, history invents the law)

Psychology's really fun. It really helps me to understand traits of my own and ways I can discard my negative side. Discover new things about the people around me. Reasons why they do certain things or act a certain way. I get to see life in a new perspective. It's a great eye-opener.

A lot of work, but surprisingly i'm not stressed at all. I guess i owe it all to my friends and the people around me. Most of all I owe it all to God, for bringing them into my life and making my life so much easier and happier to go through.

Btw, in a totally unrelated subject, I just found out Malaysia ranked No.37 in the Global Peace Index. Out of 121 countries. That's not so bad if you look at it, though I kinda thought we'd chart atleast Top 20. I guess levels of crime and violence have risen up nowadays, crazy people lurking about. But not so much for military expenditures. Thank goodness.

Norway got voted as the Most Peaceful Nation. Followed by NZ, Denmark, Ireland and Japan. Surprise to see Japan there! The bottom on the peace inventory ... give a lucky guess ? Yes, Iraq.

I just wish the violence would just end. What's the point of bombing one another when you are living in the same world?

The world's just like a fragile eggshell, once you break a fraction, you'll break it all.

KL's most eligible bachelors

Sorry for being M.I.A for quite a bit. The blog's lookin pretty dead at the moment, i'll try to splash some color to it next time. Hehe.
Oh yeah, the CLEO Most Eligible Bachelor party.
Need i say more?

All the hottest, richest, successful, most good-looking bachelors in KL all clustered in one place, its crazy to think that i've never actually attended one! Even though it was really last minute, but we finally went for it last night, TGIF indeed.

Atfirst we didnt know where da hell were the Cleo invites. In fact, my friends and I missed out on the whole give-away thingy. The lady that worked at CLEO was so kind when i called her, the next thing i know, i was at the CLEO office in Uptown, getting quite a numbrt of invites for the gurls and I (spinster night for us!). All the ladies that worked there were stylin from head to toe. More like those hotties in "Devil Wears Prada". Yikes and i was wearing my flip flops there, so much for bruising my ego.

Anyways, the party was in Zouk, so many people turned up. And guess what, it was STRICTLY 21 years old and above. Goodness gracious, everyone had to show their ID before getting in. Olivia, Din and I were obviously underage, but the rest of the group were legal enough to club. THe funny thing was we went anyways and showed our ID (thinkin we can beg our way in haha) but they stopped us.
Thankfully a friend of Olivia's knew the manager that deals with the bouncers, so we strolled our way in anyways. Fuh!

Christian won the title for MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELOR 2007. If u watched "What A Women Want" you would know who i'm talkin about. Truthfully we were so dissapointed when he came running on stage with his prizes. Hafiz and Charles shouldve won! Haha. Yeah its clear that we only took pictures with the hottest bachelors there. Score!

But seriously, under 30 and already so successful, gta respect how they did that.

Cant wait for next year's! Then i'll be legally 21 (tho I have to wait til August).

Like how the French would say,
Salut (sahlew) !!

Akon's Basketball Galore

Ooh yeah finally i get to update on something!!
I'm going out of my mind in the house with NO internet line at all. I can't wait for May to come, cos that's the month i'm moving out of there. Gonna move in a new house that's just near by, just more well-equipped. Im getting envious of my friends talkin bout updating their blogs!
Anyhoo, these are pix during Akon's visit (two months back :P) to my college the morning after his concert at Ruums. Digi were the main endorsers, so it didnt come as a surprise when i see these YELLOW, chubby creature lurking around, following every one around and giving them a hell of a shock.
I was impressed though, I thought they were really cute! Hahaha.
Esther and I were cam-whoring while Akon was playing basketball against KDU students.
Y'know the last people I was expecting to see at KDU were *well, you guessed it* MTV VJs!!!!???
I was standing on one of the chairs at the back of the roaring crowd (yeah we literally stood on top of the chairs), when i saw two Caucasian-looking guys sitting at the other side of the hall.
Little did i know it was KC Montero and Colby!!! What's even more shocking, some people didnt even know who they were?! God. They're the gorgeous VJs that Alau and I use to talk and drool over in high school. The only defect was no trace of VJ Utt, or else it would've been perfect!
It seems they flew all the way from Singapore to cover for MTV. I was lucky enough to snag a picture with KC. He was really tall, 6"1 to the least. He looks kind of pale in the picture, but he's so cute real life!
Surprisingly, VJ Colby was actually more good-looking. With the sturdier body too. Not that i checked him out. *coughs*
My classmates and I were almost late for class that day, but it was so well worth it!

Gosh, it's been a while!

FINALLY a new post!
Yeah, i know! It's really been a while. Life's been real crazy what can I say. No time for blogging anymore these days. :(
I've moved into a new house in January, it still nearby my college/uni (i'm still continuing in KDU doing my 1st year Australian law degree), and with NO internet access. My new housemates turn out to be a fun group to hang out with, which is a huge RELIEF. My new roomie, Resh, a pretty Sabahan, is the coolest girl ever!! Hehe. Even though it was really sad leaving my prev housemates, but i'm still in contact with Charmaine and the rest of the gurls, so that's not so bad.

I'm felt really down last week, cos all my friends were leaving for overseas. Shen, Wen Chien and Mona left for Aussie and NZ. Nabil left for Tazzie just last week too. Gna miss them so much. I wish u nothing but the best, guys!
Anyway, i'm in Perth right now. Came here few days ago for my bro, Kennedy's graduation. So proud of him.

Ken in his graduation robe. I'm so excited when i saw it, I can't wait for mine!

Amist the swarm of Curtin graduates!
Btw, my gorgeous biatch Alau, i think i found the perfect present for u. Hoho. He's 6 feet, gorgeous GORGEOUS face, well-built body, strawberry-blonde-haired Aussie. He looked like he just walked out of a Calvin Klein Ad. That's quite a catch right? Up to your standard? Hhehehe.

He was at the harbour at Fremantle, I hope he ships safely to ur doorstep!

I wanted to update with all the pix, but it's kind of a mess. So i'd do it later when i get back to KL.

Til the next post, happy chinese new year!

Hugs&Kisses.

I hate

Alau posted her "I hate's", I might as well just list mine too.

I HATE burglars.

I hate them for breaking into neighbour's house. The one in front, the one behind, the one on the left, the one on the right, the ones not far away.

I hate them MORE now for breaking into MY house last Saturday.

I hate them for using OUR appliances to scramble up our roof.
I hate them for perforating my parent's balcony ceiling.
I hate them for damaging my bathroom ceiling.

I hate them for stealing all the precious things with sentimental value away from us.
I hate them for stealing the special gifts my mum and my friends gave me.
I hate them for stealing my mother's cherished wedding ring.
I hate them for stealing every single jewellery and money there is.
I hate them for stealing the only memory my late dad and grandpa left us with.

I hate them for taking away the things that can't ever ever be replace or bought.

I hate them for their stupidity, their immorality and their desperation.

I hate them for making my mum cry.
I hate them for making my stepdad cry,for the first time.

I hate them for making my family cry.

I hate them for taking away my streamyx (was that really neccessary to take?)
I hate them for taking away my laptop and every single memory in it.
(they could atleast send me back the hard disk! if they cant crack the password)

I hate them for leaving their filthy finger prints everywhere.

I hate them for making the only place that I felt safe at is now no longer.

I just hate them.
